What Is balayage?
Balayage translates to “handpainted”. A true balayage Is when the hairstylist paints the color on the hair In sweeping motions for a natural sun lightened look. Alot of the blonde hair you see that appears to be balayage tend to actually be a....FOILYAGE
What Is foilyage?
Foilyage Is balayage’s sister. Gives the appearance of a balayage look but Is usually done with foiling the hair for a brighter blonde, more contrasted look.
Why does hair cost so much to get done these days?
Most don’t simply just get highlights anymore, or an all over color. Most colors require multiple steps. The first step Is lightening the color In a custom way to each client, then followed by a color melt or toner. All these “cool” tone browns require lifting the hair lighter than you’d expect and then toning to that tone. I know, Its all pretty crazy. But thats why you come to us as hairdressers to get the results you want.
Hidden Bead Extensions??
This Is a method of Installing weft hair extensions with beads that keeps the beads completely hidden In between the wefts. Done with either handtied or genius wefts, we layer the wefts on either side of the beads to create the most seamless “beadless” looking row. (But really they’re just hidden :P)
V Light Extensions
This Is one of the newest and I think one of the greatest extensions methods to be developed. It Involves a clear resin that Is brushed from the extensions strands Into the natural hair, then set with a uv light for the most seamless disguised bond. These can be used on baby fine hair around the hairline. or In ultra short areas to blend better. This would not be a method to be used all over the head but to “fill In” certain areas such as the hairline. They slowly shed over 3-6 weeks so the upkeep Is more but you can use any type of extension hair (weft, tape, ktips, etc) to use this method.
Color Correction
A color correction Is usually considered anything more than one process. It Is something that Is custom to each situation so usually a total estimation Is not given, Instead the price Is based off of time and the amount of bowls used to complete the color. Scheduling a consultation Is usually best before an appointment like this.
